Therefore He is able also to save to the uttermost (completely, perfectly, finally, and for all time and eternity) those who come to God through Him, since He is always living to make petition to God and intercede with Him and intervene for them. Heb. 7:25 (AMP).
Some Christians think Jesus didn’t finish the work of saving them so by their good works they need to try and finish what Jesus started but could not finish. Beloved, salvation is a complete package. Your salvation is complete and perfect; you can’t add anything to it. God is a perfect God so he does only perfect things.
Your father is well able and capable to save you. And he has done it already. He has saved you already. But it doesn’t end there, he saved you eternally. Nothing can come in-between the way and make you unsaved. You were saved to the uttermost.
You can’t add anything to your salvation. While good works is good, good works does not add anything to your salvation. We do good because we are good. We do not do good to be good. A pig is dirty because it’s a pig, a pig does not get dirty to become a pig. A monkey eats banana because it’s a monkey, it does not eat banana to become a monkey.
If you believe God’s word then you should believe this promise that God is able to save you to the uttermost. You have no reason to fear going to hell.
This is what a scholar said about the word “uttermost”.
This does not mean simply “forever” – but that he has power to save them so that their salvation shall be “complete”. He does not abandon the work midway; he does not begin a work which he is unable to finish. He can aid us as long as we need anything done for our salvation; he can save all who will entrust their salvation to his hands – Barnes’ Notes.
See more promises from God to save you to the uttermost:
May the God who gives us peace make you holy in every way and keep your whole being — spirit, soul, and body — free from every fault at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (GNT).
Can you see from the above scripture whose responsibility is it in keeping you faultless for rapture?
You were saved by grace and you stay saved by grace not your performance. Heaven is a gift you can never merit not a reward for your good works. Good works will guarantee you rewards in heaven but it can’t take you there. The license to heaven is JESUS not morality. Morality can keep you from jail but it can’t take anyone to heaven.
See the promise from Jesus himself:
However, those the Father has given me will come to me, and I will never reject them. 38 For I have come down from heaven to do the will of God who sent me, not to do my own will. 39 And this is the will of God, that I should not lose even one of all those he has given me, but that I should raise them up at the last day. 40 For it is my Father’s will that all who see his Son and believe in him should have eternal life. I will raise them up at the last day” (MSG).
See it here in another Bible translation:
37 Every person the Father gives me eventually comes running to me. And once that person is with me, I hold on and don’t let go. 38 I came down from heaven not to follow my own whim but to accomplish the will of the One who sent me. 39 “This, in a nutshell, is that will: that everything handed over to me by the Father be completed — not a single detail missed — and at the wrap-up of time I have everything and everyone put together, upright and whole. 40 This is what my Father wants: that anyone who sees the Son and trusts who he is and what he does and then aligns with him will enter real life, eternal life. My part is to put them on their feet alive and whole at the completion of time” (NLT).
Can you see the will of God? The fathers will is that anyone who believes in Jesus will not be lost. Jesus himself is the one responsible to raise you up on the last day not your performance.
See another promise from Jesus himself:
And I give them eternal life, and they shall never lose it or perish throughout the ages. [To all eternity they shall never by any means be destroyed.] And no one is able to snatch them out of My hand. 29 My Father, Who has given them to Me, is greater and mightier than all [else]; and no one is able to snatch [them] out of the Father’s hand (AMP).
You cannot lose the life God has given you. You are eternally secured in the fathers hands. Nobody and nothing has what it takes to snatch you out of his hands and take you to the place of destruction – hell.
Jesus bragged about how secure his father’s hands are. He guaranteed us that we can find absolute security in his hands. So once you enter there by thrusting in Jesus as your savior them you are eternally secured. Jesus won’t brag for nothing. He also said his father, our father, is greater than all (including the devil) so nothing can kidnap, pluck or force you out of his hands and take you to destruction – hell. You can’t mistakenly slip into hell. Your security is guaranteed in Christ.
Jesus is interceding for you daily. What do you think can hinder his intercession from coming to pass?
